This function allows user to import a document in both remote or local manner. When the import menu is pressed, an importing window will pop up. The default of the import document is in local manner. You will be given a dialog box (figure 14) to enter file name and directory of source and destination which it will default to your userid and current directory respectively.

To import document in the remote manner, select the remote radio button. You will be given a dialog box (figure 15). In addition to local import, you should specify machine, user name and password for the destination for importing.
