The classification problem sought to identify principle/pattern matches. The test aimed to see if the subjects could see the relation between given patterns and the principles from which they were defined. The subjects where given eight of the patterns and 35 principles, divided in two parts, each part containing four patterns and 18(17) principles. The task was to associate each principle with a pattern.
