Student Travel Grants and Fellowship


The 5th IEEE International Conference on Collaboration and Internet Computing (CIC 2019) encourages students to participate in the conference by partially subsidizing the travel costs up to a maximum of $750 for those who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference/workshops.

Who Should Apply

Support is available for selected students from institutions worldwide. The selection process will give preference to students without sufficient travel funding. Students from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

Students should fill out the student grant application and provide the following attachments needed in their application:

  • Current CV
  • Letter of support from the student’s research adviser confirming that the student is in good standing. The adviser should include a justification of financial need..
  • Personal statement of research from the student explaining the reason for attending the conference/workshops and an estimate of travel expenses.

  • Submission Due: Nov. 12 Nov. 16, 2019
  • Notification: Nov. 14 Nov. 19, 2019

Applications submitted outside of the submission period are not guaranteed to be considered.
