ADAM

DescriptionAdam is a multidimensional visualization tool based on star coordinate visualizations. It’s a java applet developed for access through the browser. Currently the system is used for course relevance visualization; future work includes job search visualization.
Developed ForPersonalized Adaptive Web Systems (PAWS) lab and Dr. Peter Brusilovsky.
Tools UsedJava application, XML parsing developed on Net Beans IDE.

H2T Documentation

DescriptionHomework Help Tool is a course assignment management system. The system is specifically designed for C programming courses. By adding or extracting ontology to/from the assignments and solutions, PAWS lab intends to explore a new approach for personalization and adaptive e-learning. This is a research project.
Developed ForPersonalized Adaptive Web Systems (PAWS) lab and Dr. Peter Brusilovsky.
Tools UsedJSP, Servlets, EJB, MySQL, JDBC, Apache Fileupload, JavaScript, various Tomcat installations, developed on Eclipse 3.0 and Netbeans 5.0 and 5.5 beta platforms.

DescriptionTreemap was a project developed by UMD, PAWS labs are trying to add social navigation and personalization to this project to visualize personalized data.

DescriptionThis is a client server card game. The server is a multithreaded java application, the client is swing based user interface.

The Warehouse

DescriptionA transaction management and Decision Support System with Analytical Database querying and management. It implements a shopping cart and supports business critical decision support system.

Vikrant’s RoleThis was a group project. Vikrant’s role was to design and implement the web application, assist and modify the database where required, developing complex queries to answer decision support questions.
