Process of tutorial proposal submission is closed
Prospective tutorial presenters should send in the following information in any convenient platform-independent format:
- Summary of the content of the tutorial
- Indication of the presenter's qualifications to present this tutorial
To save time, you can simply send or refer to existing available documents that contain this information (e.g., a description of a similar tutorial that you have given in the past, or your web homepage).
Please send this material by 25 November 2002 to the tutorial cochairs:
If your ideas about the content of the tutorial are not yet completely fixed, the tutorial co-chairs may be able to give useful advice.
Because tutorials will be (almost) free for participants, remuneration for presenters will be relatively modest; the cochairs will be able to provide more specific information.
Do not hesitate to submit a proposal just because you have not yet attended a conference in the UM series; fresh perspectives are especially welcome.
On the other hand, tutorial presenters are expected to be recognized experts on their topic, and the topic should have clear relevance to the field of user modeling.
