The School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce its new certificate program, Systems and Technology Enrichment Program (STEP).

STEP provides new approaches and strategies for developing novel solutions in today's highly dynamic IT environment. STEP' s key objectives are to:

  • provide participants with cutting-edge knowledge in highly marketable technologies;
  • offer participants the opportunity to synthesize skills gained from academic degrees, commercial training programs, and practical experience; and
  • assist participants in developing new skills to address current and future IT challenges.

One of the unique features of STEP is that it is not a one-size-fits-all program, rather it is a program packaged differently to meet specific needs of a variety of audiences. STEP consists of several tracks with carefully selected courses. We continually update existing tracks and add new courses to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the IT field.
