“ Grid
and P2P Economics for Commercialization ” |
||||
Abstract: For the commercialization of Grid and P2P resource sharing services, there have been various research efforts related to their economic studies. To achieve successful commercialization, stable provision, efficient distribution of computing resources and satisfying the participants of Grid or P2P networks are essential for the adoption of Grid technology to common users and standard infrastructures. However, in spite of such urgent needs for developing stable and efficient market architecture, existing researches have not yet implemented proper analysis, which can convince and motivate the potential users who can be the members of Grid and P2P systems with adequate rewards. In this talk, Dr. Hwang will discuss about two of his researches on the topics of revenue sharing and incentives in the economies of Grid and P2P systems. In this talk, with some implicative analyses from the research results, he will propose a techno-economic analysis, which may accelerate the adoption of these technologies through providing theoretical foundation for evaluated market architecture. |
