I measure my scholarly productivity by the publishing of books. I have written extensively on archival and records management topics, publishing fifteen books in this area, as follows:

I was also principal author of a major evaluation of Alabama's historical records, Assessing Alabama's Archives (1985), and a self-study guide for New York's historical records programs, Strengthening New York's Historical Records Programs (1988), winner of the Arline Custer Memorial Award given by the Mid-Atlantic Region Archives Conference for publishing excellence in the field of archival administration.
