BSIS Undergraduates are encouraged to create and update through profile on the university's employment systems, FutureLinks. FutureLinks is designed to assist students in their search for co-ops, internships and jobs. To access FutureLinks, you must go through your my.pitt.edu portal. Click on "My Communities" then click on "Career Services" and then click on the button for FutureLinks. .Net Developer - Distributed Developer I

Maintain responsibility for a variety of roles ranging from design, development to analysis. Serve on project development teams and provide technical solutions, tool and software alternatives and capabilities, design specifications, and recommendations related to technical issues. Provide application software and client server development using C# .Net and other Microsoft technologies. Perform full life-cycle development, including requirements definition, design, coding, and software documentation. Support system and hardware integration, testing, and maintenance on development and integration tasks. Analyze, recommend, learn, and use new technologies adopted by clients. Java Developer - Distributed Developer I

GSPIA Student Support

This position will be responsible for providing computer technical support for faculty, staff and students at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Technical support responsibilities include: diagnosing computer problems and providing problem resolutions for Macintosh and Intel-based PC's. Responsibilities will also include working on computer/job-related projects. Familiarity with hardware and PC-based operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7) is necessary, Mac and Linux OS is a plus. Applicants must be able to work weekdays between 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, up to 20 hours per week. Pay rate is based on experience. Interested applicants should e-mail their resumse to James Beiber.

Web Design & Development

The School of Medicine, Center for Research and Healthcare is looking to hire an undergraduate student, preferably a sophomore or junior to help us with basic web design and development and technical assistance.  The job would require a commitment of 5-15 hours a week at $9.00 an hour, starting immediately.  Knowledge of PHP, HTML, SQL and CSS is required, experience with word press, AJAX and web-programming coursework would be a plus.  Our research group is located in McKee Place and our projects focus on media, media literacy, advertising and adolescent health. Interested applications should contact Kristen Rice.
