Administration

The act of promoting online education is a lot different than actually planning and teaching an online course.  The tabs on the left will provide you with information and resources that regard the actual process of teaching online.

Online Forms

The following website provides links to important forms for online educators.  Included are the forms for CourseWeb/Blackboard course requests, registration for CourseWeb/Blackboard training, faculty workshops, JANUS training, classroom feedback, media orders, satellite downlink requests, classroom technology problem reports, and more.

Human Resources forms regarding benefits, compensation, and employment can be accessed through http://www.hr.pitt.edu/forms.htm.

Course evaluations

The student evaluation process is different for courses taught online and on-campus.  Information about arranging for online course evaluations can be found by visiting the website for the Office of Measurement and Evaluation for Teaching (OMET) at http://www.omet.pitt.edu/index.html.
