I am studying the performance pervasive catalog infrastructure with wireless web application development plat home under varying load condition using OPNET.
I have developed a model of the world scale network in OPNET. Once the network simulation model was ready, I obtained the traffic statistics, response time, data size and other interesting data. There are three types of application data traffics in the model: database application traffic and two types of metadata queries. Among the network, the catalog can maintain the conditions (response time, network delay, data transfer rate, etc.) of each nodes or summarization of particular subnets.
Moreover, I have tried to create the dynamic server switching process model. The client checkes which server's response is fast base on the algorithm with using above conditional data.
The objective of pervasive catalog infrastructure is that the nodes can optimize their queries against the other nodes to keep efficient metadata management.
