Hi, my name is John Harkins. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA. I currently live in the city of Greensburg. I am 23 years old.
I graduated college from Penn State McKeesport in 2006. I currently hold a Bachelors Degree in Information Sciences and Technology with a minor in English.

As I previously stated, I was a student of the Information Sciences and Technology program under the option of Integration and Application. This option is designed to prepare a student to use information technology to realize a variety of system-based goals. The option is focused on developing a skill set needed for integrating information technology into different systems to improve their performance. I also have taken steps into the English minor program with several intensive English curriculums with some dwelling in the technological world.

I am currently employed at Officemax in Greensburg in the technology and printing departments. On an average day I spend my time selling and explaining different types of business or home printers to those who do not know the differences. Also, Networking equipment is a big thing. There are many different ways people want to be able to network their house and it is my responsibility to explain the many technologies in a simple way to help them. During my final semester of Penn State, I worked at Blueroof Technologies, a non-profit organization, for my Internship. I worked on organizing the documentation for the house as well as implementing newer technology directed toward senior citizens.
