With rapidly increasing volumes of
information in digital forms, we are constantly charged with the
challenges of efficiency in information usage and knowledge extraction.
Information Reuse and Integration (IRI) seeks to maximize the
availability of information and creation of knowledge, and to reuse
these information and knowledge in addressing new issues. IRI plays a
pivotal role to capture, maintain, integrate, validate, extrapolate, and
apply both information and knowledge to augment decision-making capacity
in application domains. The IEEE IRI conference serves as a forum for
researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to
present, discuss, and exchange ideas that address real-world problems
with real-world solutions.
This years IRI
conference will include a panel discussion (i.e., another panel), which is open
to all registered attendees on the subject of making our IEEE SMC society and
your R&D more relevant to industry. We are bringing in ten corporate and
university executives for this serious discussion. |
