I am a PhD student in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. I am also a research assistant in the Laboratory of Education and Research on Security Assured Information Systems (LERSAIS) and working under supervision of Dr. James Joshi. I received my MS in Information Technology from Sharif University of Technology and BS in Computer Engineering (Software) from AmirKabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2007 and 2004 respectively. Before joining the University of Pittsburgh, I was a research scholar in the E_security research center at the London South Bank University.
My research interests include, but are not limited to:
- Information Assurance and Security including Access Control Models, Trust Management, Privacy, and Web Security
- Usable Privacy and Security
- Distributed, mobile, pervasive, and ubiquitous computing
- Computer and communication networks
- Semantics-Aware Computing
- Artificial Intelligence (Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, Multi Agent Systems)
