Plug-ins are necessary to access the various utilities from the Utilities menu. There are eight utilities which require a plug-in. The eight utilities are a web browser, text editor, HTML editor, Postscript viewer, PDF viewer, image viewer, video player and an audio player.

Although CASCADE will function normally without any plug-ins, to realize the power of CASCADE we suggest that you add at a minimum, a text editor, Postscript viewer and an image viewer. You may easily add the remaining plug-ins as needed at a later date.
