FAQ

How do I select a font?

Click the Main menu and choose Preferences to display your preferences dialog window. Click the Colors & Fonts tab to display a Colors & Fonts dialog window. Within the Colors & Fonts dialog window there are four areas; Viewer, Comment Editor, Mural, and System Colors.

The Viewer area allows you to change your document colors and fonts. The Comment Editor area allows you to change comment colors and fonts. The mural is the vertical rectangular box at the right side of the CASCADE document window which displays references to comments within a document. The Mural area allows the mural background color to be changed. The System Colors area allows you to change the system colors.

To select a font for your document, click the Viewer Set Font button which will open a font dialog window. In the font dialog window select a font from the font family window, a font face from the font face window, and a font size from the list of font sizes and click Apply then click OK.

To select a font for the comment editor, click the Comment Editor Set Font button and follow the same steps as for selecting a font for a document.

If the font size you want is not listed in the list of font sizes, type the new font size into the font size box and click Apply. You may continue adding new fonts by entering them into the font size box and clicking Apply, when you are finished click Ok. Any fonts that your manually entered will be saved and will appear in the font list Additionally, when you manually enter fonts you may enter the fonts in tenths of the font, 12.5 for example.
