To use CASCADE an internet connection is required since the CASCADE server is located at the University of Pittsburgh. If you do not have an internet connection or you are not sure how to connect to the internet, contact your local internet service provider or your company internet representative for help.

Begin using CASCADE by selecting it from your Start menu. Once you see the CASCADE login window, select "Set New Server" from the Server pull down menu and enter a name for your server and the host name and port number given to you by your Administrator or the CASCADE Office then click the Save button and then the Close button. Now, enter the username and password given to you by your Administrator or the CASCADE Office and click the ok button. You should be logged into CASCADE and should see a Select Project window. Click on a project and then click ok to begin using CASCADE.
