Welcome to the home page for CASCADE. CASCADE is a research initiative to study the development of net based collaborative authoring systems. CASCADE stands for Computer Augmented Support for Collaborative Authoring and Document Editing.
The CASCADE project is headed by Michael B. Spring and is housed in the Department of Information Sciences and Telecommunications at the University of Pittsburgh. The project is currently supported in part by grants from the Information Technology Laboratory of the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
