Overview

This document provides an overview of the work on CASCADE. This section provides some information on the conceptual goals set out for CASCADE and explains the current state of development efforts. Following are sections on the goals of the research project, major architectural designs, and functional capabilities. A final section examines a few of the data streams used by CASCADE to make it possible to ease the burden of collaborative authoring. Appendicies include additional information about agents, color choices, X Window System idiosyncracies, and how to get started using CASCADE.
