Activity Logs

CASCADE maintains a log of activity for the documents that it manages. As shown in Figure 1, when you enter CASCADE, it informs you of the amount of activity since your last usage. This activity could include people adding new documents or comments about existing documents. You can choose to review a detailed list of this activity in order to find new documents/comments that you are interested in. As shown in Figure 9, the activity agent even keeps track of the documents you have reviewed, changing the status of activities from ``Unread'' to ``Read'' as you access the various components. Since CASCADE treats activity logs as document components, they may be edited to remove records you are no longer interested in. In addition, you may feel free to add your own comments and observations to this file as you see fit. The activities that CASCADE logs are comment creation, document creation, editing, and link deletion.
