This group will examine leading edge research issues in
networked systems including such sub-areas as strategic technologies
for the Internet, network design, network management, network-aware
data management, modeling and analysis of physical layer,
and protocol design and analysis. In this case, networked
systems will include distributed information systems and
grid systems, particularly to the extent that they are focused
on the systems rather than the applications components.
