Entering
room 819, you'll see directly in front of you the two printers
available for producing homework and school-related materials
<<image 1>>. The printers are called, from right
to left, "lw8b" and "lw8." This lab houses
all of the labs' Sun UltraSPARC Workstations with Creator-3D
or higher graphics. <<image 2>>
To the left of the printers is the Graduate Student Assistant
(GSA) desk. The GSA is on duty during lab hours to answer
questions and assist with problems that labs users might
have. If the GSA is not sitting at the desk, he or she will
be sitting in labs 819, 828, or 838 -- a sign on the GSA
desk <<image 3 >> will state where he
or she is located.
Now, still standing inside room 819, face the doorway and
look to your left. The door at the end of the "hall"
leads to room 828, the first of two Pentium PC teaching labs.
Walk down the hallway and enter 828. <<image 4 >>
