The University of Pittsburgh is committed to an environment free of sexual harassment and other discriminatory behaviors. The Provost’s memo of November 2004 (http://www.provost.pitt.edu/memo/11-02-2004.html) outlines the responsibilities that each faculty member has in this regard. New faculty members are required to complete an online educational module on preventing sexual harassment and to provide certification of completion to the Dean’s Office.
