New staff onboard

We welcome two new staff members to the School:

Brandi Belleau joined the Student Services team in May. She received an MLIS degree with a specialization in Archives from our LIS program the previous year. Brandi works with Shabana Reza on recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and graduation.
Tonya Briggs joined SIS in August as the Mellon Diversity Project Director. Tonya received her MLIS from Kent State in 2003, and most recently worked at Oberlin College as the Mellon Librarian Recruitment Program Coordinator. Tonya will be working with faculty from Pitt, Penn State, and Drexel to develop a summer institute program focusing on the long term goal of increasing diversity among iSchool faculty.
