Lorna Kearns joining SIS part-time to help faculty develop online course

April 2 , 2008

Lorna Kearns is a 1986 graduate of our MSIS program. She has held IT positions in the Chancellor's Office, LRDC, and the Heinz School at CMU. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Penn State in Instructional Design, focusing on online education for adult learners. Lorna will be working with Sue Alman on a limited basis for the next six weeks to help Tony Debons and CIDDE designers develop Tony's online course for the summer.  Come mid-May, we anticipate expanding Lorna’s work to 20 hours/week to consult with faculty on instructional design for online courses.
