End-of-year funds directed to equipment, furniture, and facilities

We are finishing the year in a relatively strong financial position, and are investing in several projects to improve the instruction and research facilities of the School:

Equipment is being acquired to update the laboratory facilities for Telecommunications and Networking Program
Furnishings for the 4th floor SAIS laboratory are being procured
We will be engaging an architectural firm to work with us to develop plans to improve the 7th and 8th floors to better serve the needs of our students and faculty.

In addition to the improvements we are planning, the University will be installing ceiling-mounted projectors in five classrooms on the fourth floor this summer.
