Active faculty searches

Interviews for the non-tenure-stream LIS position have been completed and I am awaiting the recommendations of the search committee. Once I receive their report, I will submit my recommendation to the Provost. We are obliged to await his approval before I can make an offer to any particular candidate.

The search committee for the Doreen E. Boyce Chair has been formed, ads placed, and announcements sent to full professors at the iSchools. We are actively encouraging recommendations for candidates, and encourage your suggestions.

The search committee for the Mellon-funded full professorship in cyberscholarship has been formed and the position announcement has been approved by the University. Ads will be placed soon, and your advice on prospective candidates is welcomed.
