All doctoral students and faculty are invited to the inaugural DLIS Doctoral Colloquium.

The inaugural monthly DLIS Doctoral Colloquium will include the introduction of faculty and DLIS PhD students followed by an overview of the Colloquiums planned for Fall 2003 and Spring 2004.

For the first colloquium, Dr. Amanda Spink will present on how to write conference papers and journal articles and how to give presentations on research works at conferences in general.

Please feel free to bring your own lunch or snack.

Future Colloquiums will include faculty and student research presentations, proposal and dissertation presentations, guest speakers, and workshops on aspects of the research and dissertation process.

The December DLIS Doctoral Colloquium will be held on Friday December 5.
