Event Preparedness and Response Effort
The University
of Pittsburgh led a national coalition of universities,
businesses and non-governmental organizations (the
Pittsburgh Partnership) that responded to the US Department
of Homeland Security's Broad Agency Announcement for
a Center of Excellence in High Consequence Events. This
seminar discusses novel aspects of the effort including:
the formation and organization of the Partnership, the
unifying conceptual framework that was developed, the
unique management structure and tools that were developed.
The proposal consortium represents one of the largest
and diverse efforts that the university has initiated.
The presenters are the principal investigators for
this proposal. |
