 The
School of Information Sciences is pleased to welcome
those students beginning their studies in January of
2008. The School wants to provide you with the
skills and knowledge to earn successful careers in business,
government, or non-profits. We hope that you’ll
find your studies challenging and rewarding. The
faculty, staff, and administration are here to help you
make the most of your studies at SIS!
Please note that there will be an orientation session
for all new students on Friday,
January 4, 2008, at the
School. The orientation, which will begin at 9:15
am, will give you details about courses, the School,
the University and the City of Pittsburgh. This
information will help you to transition easily into your
