FastTrack On-Campus Experience
April 8-9-10, 2005

This weekend members of the fourth cohort of the FastTrack MLIS program will visit Pittsburgh for their regular spring on-campus visit. The events of this weekend will kick off with a pizza party on Friday evening. Class sessions will follow the pizza party and will be held again on Saturday.

Sunday will feature a colloquium called "Beyond Virtual Libraries" and will be presented by guest speaker Laverna Saunders, Director of Duquesne University Library.

FastTrack students are distance learners who earn their MLIS degree online and visit Pittsburgh for a long weekend once every semester. FastTrack students are part-time and earn their MLIS degree in two years. Cohort 3 will be in town for Commencement Weekend April 30-May 1, when 41 new graduates of the FastTrack program will be recognized.
