On Tuesday, September 7, 2004 the City of Pittsburgh honored Bob Regan with a Proclamation, declaring "The Steps of Pittsburgh Day" in the City County Building. This was done in recognition of his book "The Steps of Pittsburgh: Portrait of a City". The book has inspired the city and its citizens to care and preserve their steps, the largest collection of any city for generations upon generations to come. We are very happy for Bob and wish him continued success with his book.
