Accolades for James Joshi and Security Assured Information Systems (SAIS) curriculum at SIS

On Wednesday December, 10 2003 the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) offered its congratulations and announced that SIS professor James Joshi would receive recognition and a certificate during the CNSS Annual Conference that will be held on April 13-15, 2004 in Norfolk, Virginia. Presentations will be made by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence.

The recognition is for development of curriculum for information security as reviewed by Information Assurance Courseware Evaluation (IACE) Review Committee. They validated that Joshi’s work 100% met CNSS National Standard(s) 4011 and 4013.

Committee reviewers praised Joshi’s submission:

Their already strong IA curriculum continues to grow, with the implementation of a recently designed Security Assured Information track.
