Why join ITERA?
ITERA student members will enjoy the following exclusive benefits:
Members can publish their resume in the ITERA student resume database which will be presented to prospective employers in ITERA conferences. Currently the conferences are jointly organized with USTA (US Telecommunications Association) with extensive networking opportunities with heavy weight players in telecommunications industry.
ITERA will provide internships to selected Pitt student members during the ITERA 06 conference.
Members can submit their papers for publication in the ITERA conferences. Call for papers will be announced in November 2005.
Student members will get special discount on conference registration.
Pitt telecom program will pay for the travel expenses of 2 student members for the purpose of presenting their papers in ITERA conference.
ITERA will organize job fairs for members seeking academic positions in telecommunications programs across the nation.
No membership fee is being charged for year 2005-06. ($35 annual fee otherwise)
