Transfer of Credit
From Program Bulletin
A maximum of six graduate credits earned with a grade
of B or better may be transferred toward either the
master's or PhD degree from institutions fully accredited
for graduate study, provided:
- these credits have not been applied to any other
degree or certificate;
- they are applicable to the study of information
science or telecommunications;
- they are not older than the statute of limitations
for the degree.
Only graduate courses will transfer in to the program.
An undergraduate course will not transfer for graduate
credit, even if it might count for graduate credit
on the home campus.
Requests for advanced standing should be sent to the
department chair, with all documentation that is available,
including transcripts and course syllabi and/or course
description.
