S.I.S. Faculty, Student, & Alumni News

From the remote mountains of Kentucky to the valley city of Sarajevo, this month's Bibliofile invites you to explore a world of information. Yes, the semester is almost over, and final projects may have you suffering from a sense of "information overload" (or temporal poverty!), but be sure to find a few moments to catch-up on the LIS news and reviews. Start your summer reading early with Designs of the Night Sky or Down Cut Shin Creek, celebrate April on every level: Earth Day, National Library Week, and National Poetry Month, and learn about Sarajevo from one of our colleagues who calls it "home!"

Spring is here -- traditionally a season for "new beginnings." As some of you graduate and begin your new careers, we wish you the best! For those of you who will be here for summer session, classes start May 10.

Thank you to this month's contributors, Colleen Miles and Jill Hershorin. Thanks also to Janie Weaver for all of the editorial guidance provided this year. Best of luck to you in Michigan, Janie ... you will be missed!
