From your editors:

Happy New Year!

Sick of the frigid temps? Yearning to go south for the winter term? Well, if it makes you feel any better, Florida posted record lows this past week - temps in the twenties! Brrrr. So, after you get back from the grocery store where you've stocked up on all the citrus you can eat before the prices go sky-high, cozy up in the student lounge with a cup of hot chocolate from our pretty-much-brand-spanking-new machine in the lobby and check out this month's Bibliofile. Here's what we've got to offer this month:

In This Issue:

Profile a Prof : Sue Alman

Faculty News

MLIS Specialty Tracks feature: Archives

How Are Libraries Good for this Country?
(No, this isn't a trick question - check it out, courtesy of the ALA)

(It's more entertaining than it sounds...)

Student Organizations Update:
ASIST is getting up and running again.
And there is a new student chapter of SLA. Keep an eye out for signs regarding meetings, or contact Serena Haroian (seharoian@hotmail.com)
or Betsey Tuttle (betseytuttle@yahoo.com).

Special Guest Profile: Santa Claus
Now that Santa is done with his busy time of year and can kick back in Cancun with an umbrella drink, we finally caught up with him. Here's our exclusive interview.
