Welcome to Bibliofile
The Student Newsletter for the Department of Library and Information Science

From your editors:

'Tis the Season...

It has occurred to your Bibliofile editors that here at SIS, we students enjoy a good round of grumbling.  We moan about too much reading and not enough time.  We complain that it takes forever to get an elevator, that room 828 is not open on Sundays, and that the good stuff is always gone from the vending machines.  In honor of Thanksgiving, your trusty editors have put together a top 10 list of things we SIS students have to be thankful for.  Take a moment to look over our points, or better yet, grab a pen and add your own.

The Top 10 Things SIS Students Can Be Thankful For

10) Our elevators are better than those in the cathedral.
9) ISO cleaned the microwaves on the 2nd floor.
8) The coffee machine has arrived.
7) Free, unlimited printing in the computer labs.
6) The construction is finished.
5) Internships, practicums, and other professional experience opportunities.
4) We have outr very own library.
3) A nationally recognized curriculum.
2) Helpful faculty and staff.
1) The friendly, intimate atmosphere created by students, faculty, and staff.
